Is Workers’ Compensation Insurance killing your business? The California Labor Commissioner’s Office reminds employers they must maintain valid workers’ compensation insurance coverage for all workers, including part time employees. If a business employs one or more employees, then it must satisfy the requirement of the law. Workers’ compensation insurance is part of the cost of doing business.

The Valley Industry Association welcomes Mitzi S. Like, CIC, CRM, Chief Executive Officer, LBW Insurance and Financial Services. Mitzi has over 35 years experience in the Property & Casualty business and is a Certified Risk Manager. She and her team will discuss the current status and changes in Workers’ Compensation requirements and compliance for employers. They’ll also present strategies to help employers keep premiums down.
