Safety

Goals and Objectives:

To increase awareness of member companies to the activities and resources represented by the Valley Industrial Association in the Safety and Emergency Preparedness arena.
Secure the volunteer services of six (6) Ham Radio Operators to assist during emergencies in the VIA Emergency Communications Centers.

Current Projects:

Equipping three Emergency Communications Centers (ECCs) within the Valencia Industrial and Commerce Centers.
Continuing to encourage emergency preparedness throughout the businesses of the Santa Clarita Valley
Preparation of a procedures manual to operate ECCs
Participation in the annual VIA B2B Industry Show
