The City of Santa Clarita’s Economic Development Division consistently tracks a variety of different economic indicators, including the real estate market, commercial and residential development, tax generation, stock prices, and film and visitor activity throughout both the City of Santa Clarita and the Santa Clarita Valley. As we enter 2010, these indicators can provide a general snapshot of the overall financial health of our community. Please join us for the January luncheon to hear more information from Jason Crawford, Marketing & Economic Development Manager,
City of Santa Clarita, about what these indicators mean to our valley.
Additionally, Lisa Webber, Planning Manager, City of Santa Clarita, will also join VIA to discuss
SB 375, the “Anti-Sprawl Bill,” and to offer information about how the City of Santa Clarita is managing the mandates of the bill as they pertain to housing, transportation and the reduction of greenhouse gases.
