The Strategic Planning committee is responsible for developing the many strategic initiatives for growth, management, and development of VIA and its membership.  This is where the Vision is created.

Membership Experience

Member outreach!  The VIA Membership Committee works to build and retain a strong membership, assisting all members to be a part of a successful VIA team.  We always need new members to join us in this exciting committee.  This is the best place to meet new members and get involved quickly!

Goals & Objectives 

• Establish personal relationships with new members by acting as ambassadors at the monthly luncheons, introducing new members to existing members, and by greeting attendees at VIA In Action Breakfasts and quarterly Open Houses.
• Encourage member participation and increased business activities between members.
• Introduce new members at the monthly VIA luncheon. Primary goal is to increase and endorse membership through all activities and attain growth in membership.
• Extend invitations to members for events such as the Quarterly Get Acquainted Breakfast.
• Initiate occasional member surveys, using the feedback to keep VIA relevant to member’s needs.
• Coordinate target marketing program.

Marketing and Communications

To provide a compelling marketing message and strategy in alignment with VIA’s growth initiative and to communicate the value of the VIA brand to members and stakeholders.

Goals/Objective 

• To manage the image and communicated value of the VIA brand
• Establish and maintain a VIA marketing plan
• To produce monthly publication pages and submit to media
• To produce relevant press release information
• Gather information from external sources that are relevant to our membership
• Establish processes for constant communication to VIA stakeholders
• Serve as a resource to other VIA committees
• Enhance and maintain the VIA website

The Business and Community Education committees serve to develop and manage VIA's educational programs.  VIA provides a mix of programs and events targeted both towards the development of our business members, as well as our future work force here in the Santa Clarita Valley.
