As the Valley Industry Association prepares to wrap up 2010 and usher in 2011, we’re reminded that our membership is at the heart of our organization.
You may recall that VIA entered 2010 with a clear goal: To redefine Value Proposition to our members. With that in mind, VIA has left no stone unturned. Everything from the composition of our Board of Directors to our pillars, mission, programs, events and committees, VIA is undergoing change! We set the bar very high, and I’m pleased to report that we have made significant progress. Earlier this year, VIA adopted a lean philosophy to be a proactive, nimble and flexible organization with a new level of focus.
As well, this year VIA worked to collaborate with regional organizations to form strategic partnerships that expand our focus and networking capabilities, strengthen our areas of influence and reach beyond the valley’s borders, all for the purpose of creating greater value for our members.
VIA is a living, breathing organization that adapts to change but is solid in its core mission: to connect and build SCV Industry.
Why join VIA? It may not be rocket science (although we have several scientists within our ranks!) but it makes good business sense to allocate limited marketing dollars where you can get the most “bang for your buck.” Depending on the size of your business, VIA membership can be less than $1 per day!
The VIA Board of Directors and staff are committed to strengthening our organization through programs, events, information and with new membership in the coming year.
